What staff will work with my child at camp and what is the ratio?

All Camp locations will have a Supervisor on site as well as 1 counselor per every 20 campers. All of our staff meet or exceed the Broward County School Board, State of Florida, Department of Children and Families, Town of Davie, City of Hollywood, and Sunshine Child Programs requirements:

* College-aged or older with childcare experience

* Cleared through the Broward County School Board and The Department of Children and Families (local and federal background checks)

* Trained with certification in First Aid and CPR, Child Abuse and Neglect, Anti Bullying, and Medication Dispense.

*All staff are required to complete 45 hours of Child Care training within one year of hire. They begin these courses upon hire.

*Most summer employees have been working with Sunshine during After School Care and transitioning from one program to the next.
